About me

By day I’m an English teacher, working with adults, mainly in Germany, who want to improve their business English.

My thoughts on beauty products, wellness, travel, food, entertainment and life in general don’t fit on my other blog, which is about learning English, so I decided to set up another one.

The name “unseen beauty” came about because the blog is written from the perspective of someone who can’t see, and beauty products will be a regular feature. This is why you won’t find a lot of images on this blog – I can’t see to take my own photos – but I can certainly tell you what I think, like, dislike, would definitely recommend or never buy again! Where possible I’ll link products so that you can have a look at them if you want to.

Here’s an audio message from me:

Things that I love: dogs, wolves, spicy food, coffee, chocolate, owls, sunshine, products that smell and feel good and make me look my best!

Things that I don’t love: inaccessible websites, mornings, sweetcorn, crowded trains, celery, bad customer service, and being cold!

I have plenty of ideas for this blog, so keep reading if you want to follow this coffee and chocolate-loving night owl’s adventures through life!

If you’re interested in learning English, check out my other site, which is called English with Kirsty. I also produce a podcast about language and communication.

I love to hear from my readers, so please use the comments function to let me know what you think, and don’t forget to sign up for email alerts if you don’t want to miss any new posts.

If you’d like to get my updates, which usually come out twice a week, you can use this form to sign up. I share links to my recent posts, things that I’ve enjoyed from other blogs or sites, and occasional special offers that I think will interest my readers.
